We are At Scale

We specialise in project management, business development, performance improvement and digital health for health and social care clients.

We work with GPs and Federations, PCNs, LMCs, hospitals and NHS commissioners in England and Scotland.

Project Management

Projects often require short term input to help you deliver critical outcomes and often involve turning strategic aims into a working reality. Most of our work revolves around change and transformation. We work with all types of organisations in the sector, particularly PCNs.

We help deliver health and social care projects that often need immediate additional capacity, particular expertise or project management skills. Projects involve meeting shortfalls in client capacity, service redesign, operational resilience and business turnaround.

In the last year, we’ve helped PCNs develop and implement their delivery plans. We’ve helped GPs make their practices deliver more effective and more profitable services. We’ve developed business plans for GP Federations. We’ve prepared successful bids and helped with mobilisation. We’ve worked with health providers to help them thrive in the new NHS landscape. And we’ve supported technology companies implement new systems and change the way their clients can do things.

Business Development

Developing your business means changing the way you organise the way you do things, operate more commercially and ensure your workforce changes with you. You must align planned changes so they genuinely transform your organisation and make it more successful. Whatever your business is.

We start by reviewing your current situation, agreeing where you want to be and will develop a plan to get there. We can provide as much help as you want and have unique business tools you can use to support your development.

In the last year, we’ve helped PCNs shift their organisational focus onto population-level health delivery. We’ve helped Federations and GP Networks develop integrated care services. We’ve mentored PCN Clinical Directors and helped them adjust to more strategic decision making. And we’ve helped many GP practices build their business, including supporting the creation of the largest GP Group in Scotland.

Performance Improvement

Improving the performance of your business means identifying different ways of doing things, seeking opportunities that will save you time and money and making sure you deliver high-quality services. Change requires expertise and that you take your workforce,  stakeholders and clients with you.

We start by understanding how you are undertaking your business currently and we will identify what changes you have already made. We will combine our knowledge and expertise with your understanding of your business to identify where we can make a real difference to your bottom line.

In the last year, we’ve prepared and delivered resilience improvement bids for GP practices. We’ve helped PCNs and GP Federations better engage with their commissioners and redesign the way they provide services. We’ve helped many clinical providers improve their CQC compliance and undertaken improvement projects. And we’ve worked with large NHS bodies to transform and turnaround both services and organisations.

Digital Health

Effective implementation, optimising technology and exploitation of data are perhaps the key issues driving improvements in health today. How you optimise your technology will influence how you develop your pathways and new service models. Understanding your patient and population data and beyond just clinical headlines will be critical to your planning and decision making.  To manage your service delivery means you must understand how to identify very different ways of doing business.

identify and control patient need but being part of the digital health world means you must think beyond that. Our understanding of the whole health and social care system as well as the wider public sector landscape will enable you to play a full part in the exciting opportunities of the future.

In the last year, we’ve worked on some ground breaking projects. We’ve worked with PCNs and CCGs in the North East of England to implement population level digital health services including education and upskilling population and workforce. We have worked with patients and patient groups to understand how digital health can make a difference, what influences behaviour and how to ensure health inequalities are detrimental. We also work with digital service companies implement remote patient monitoring and automate health service delivery. Our most recent project was supporting Sonar Informatics deliver London-wide Coivd-19 vaccines to 9m Londoners – one of the most challenging projects we’ve ever worked on. We helped PCNs in London deliver the vaccine programme too.
